The Rainbow Health Ontario Provider Directory contains detailed information about available programs and services as well as individual service providers that have expressed a commitment to providing competent and welcoming care to LGBT people in Ontario.
Being listed in this directory does not imply any evaluation or endorsement by or affiliation with Rainbow Health Ontario (RHO) and exclusion does not indicate disapproval. The individuals and organizations listed have chosen to participate in this directory and are responsible for the accuracy of their information. All service providers in this directory have listed themselves as LGBT-positive and inclusion in this directory should not be taken as an indication of the sexual orientation or gender identity of those listed.
RHO reserves the right to include or exclude any individual or organization at its discretion. RHO does not charge a fee for listing an individual’s or organization’s service information in our provider directory, and we have not received any payment for referrals.
Criteria for Inclusion
Individuals and organizations that want to be included in the RHO Provider Directory must meet the following general terms of inclusion:
a) Must provide a direct health or social service for residents living in the province of Ontario.
b) Must clearly state that the service provided is LGBT-positive.
c) Must be licensed or certified, where applicable.
d) Must have a consistently available contact person, location, telephone number, or telephone answering machine. On a case-by-case basis, RHO may include a provider resource that is primarily web-based.
Criteria for Exclusion
a) Individuals and organizations that have a philosophy that could be hurtful to the well-being of individuals, groups or the community as a whole.
b) Organizations that provide services to members only.
c) Individuals or organizations performing or promoting unlawful activities, practices, services, discrimination, fraud, or misrepresentation.
RHO reserves the right to include or exclude any organization at its discretion. After a decision to exclude an organization is made, RHO will contact excluded agencies to explain the reasons for exclusion. RHO also reserves the right to discontinue an individual or organizational listing for any reason including, but not limited to, violation of the law, defrauding the public, discrimination or the lodging of serious complaints against them with any regulatory body.
Accuracy of Information
Rainbow Health Ontario provides all relevant information about the services of an individual or organization based on information provided by the individual or organization. Every effort has been made to ensure the data contained in the RHO Provider Directory is as accurate as possible. Records are updated annually and it is the responsibility of the listed individuals and organizations to update with corrections and changes in the interim. RHO assumes no responsibility for omissions or errors and reserves the right to edit information to meet the format and standards of the provider directory.

The RHO Provider Directory is only for the use of patients and clients seeking an LGBT-positive service provider. The information contained in the provider directory is to be used for individual, personal, non-commercial, and confidential reference purposes only. This provider directory may not be used for soliciting, marketing, or canvassing purposes. The RHO Provider Directory and its contents are the sole property of Rainbow Health Ontario. The contents of this provider directory may not, in whole or in part, be reproduced, copied, disseminated, entered into a computer database, used as part of, or in connection with, a mailing list, or otherwise utilized, in any form or manner, by any means, except for the user’s individual, personal, non-commercial, and confidential reference.
