Égale Canada is a national organization committed to advancing equality and justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans-identified people, and their families, across Canada. Égale has members in every province and territory of the country. The website, in English and French, contains extensive information on the legal/political history of same-sex couples and families in Canada, as well as information on Égale’s Safe Schools Campaign, created to make schools across Canada a safe and inclusive place for lesbian, gay, bi, trans and questioning youth, for children of LGBTQ people, and for LGBTQ teachers and school staff.
