Dr. Layman-Pleet works in a small solo practice and is focused on providing psychiatric assessment and treatment to individuals exploring issues of sex, gender and sexuality in the Ottawa area with concurrent mental health issues. Dr. Layman-Pleet’s area of expertise is transitional aged youth (16-25) but her practice is not limited to that age range. Dr. Layman-Pleet has completed training from Rainbow Health Ontario, Guelph University and Harvard University continuing medical education in areas related to trans and diverse gender identities health and mental health care, sex therapy and issues related to diverse sexualities including kink and polyamory. Unfortunately my practice is not wheelchair accessible and has about 6 steps to reach the main entrance.
