Kelly Kirkham Psychotherapy

Kelly Kirkham is a non-binary Registered Psychotherapist and a Psycho-Spiritual Therapist in private practice in Uptown Waterloo, Ontario. Kelly is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (#007789), as well as an associate member of the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care, specializing in mental health. Kelly also brings to this practice, education and training as a child and youth worker, 30 years of teaching, supervision and research in elementary education, 16 years of experience in therapeutically supporting those who have lived through family violence, as well as experience in palliative care.
Kelly engages in a trauma- and violence-informed, strength-based, integrative, collaborative, and client-centred practice. They bring the wholeness of themself and their fully attentive presence into the therapeutic space and moment with others in order to invite the development of a trusting, therapeutic relationship in which connection and understanding can take root. This is a space in which all are welcome, and one in which the fullness of a person, mind, body and spirit, is supported through exploration, growth and healing. Kelly uses therapeutic techniques drawn from a wide range of models and tailors their approach to meet the expressed needs and worldview of each individual client.
Kelly sits with individuals, with couples, and with families at their office in Uptown Waterloo.
