Social Inc. – Mohawk College

Social Inc. is a place where human rights are respected. We celebrate social inclusion and work toward erasing discrimination. This process includes identifying and confronting oppression. We do this by supporting students and staff with a physical positive space located in G112 and delivering a message of harmony outside of our safe space.

Social Inc. is open from Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm with minor interruptions when events are being held. The room is fully accessible. Registered student and community groups can also book the room during day, evening and weekend hours. We are closed during the month’s of July and August and have modified hours during all reading weeks.

The space is staffed with Peer Wellness Workers that are there to support you. The coordinator of Social Inc. is Marco Felvus and can be reached via email: socialinc@mohawkcollege.ca. Please note that services are limited to students enrolled at and of the Mohawk College campuses or satellites as well as staff.
