
New Training Available: Supporting 2SLGBTQ+ Inclusion in Long-Term Care
Applications are now open for a new training offering: Supporting 2SLGBTQ+ Inclusion in Long-Term Care. Gain knowledge and skills to foster 2SLGBTQ+ inclusive and affirming environments for residents, care partners, and colleagues!
This blended training package, provided by and delivered in partnership with Rainbow Health Ontario (RHO), features eLearning and synchronous virtual sessions and offers foundational education to support LTC workers and teams in Ontario.
This training program will run from February 2025 to March 2025. Wage support is available for any team member from an Ontario-based LTC home.
Deadline to apply is Friday, January 31, 2025.

Rainbow Health Ontario is excited to announce the successful launch of our new learning management system (LMS). We are currently in our beta testing phase as we iron out a few wrinkles, and put an extra shine on the platform!
Our new system has a great ease of access, seamlessly integrates ZOOM for online instructor-led courses, offers an easily accessible snapshot of your learning journey as well as convenient views of upcoming courses.

Rainbow Health Ontario created this brief guide in response to the many requests we receive for guidance on incorporating sexual orientation and gender identity into intake forms and Electronic Health Records (EHRs). Developing and implementing inclusive EHRs is essential to creating accessible, welcoming clinical settings where 2SLGBTQ patients feel encouraged to participate in their own health care.
