  • New report from SARAVYC on TRS

    new report from UBC’s Stigma and Resilience Among Vulnerable Youth Centre (SARAVYC) shows a snapshot in time of trans people’s experiences with transition-related surgeries (TRS) in Ontario. The Ontario analysis was funded by the partners in Ontario’s Trans Health Expansion (THEx): Sherbourne Health Centre including Rainbow Health Ontario, Women’s College Hospital and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.

    A first of its kind in Canada, the Trans Primary Care Guide is an innovative online tool to assist healthcare providers in offering primary and transition-related care to trans and gender-diverse patients.

What we do

Rainbow Health Ontario works to improve the health and well being of LGBTQ people in Ontario, and to increase access to competent and LGBTQ friendly health care services across the province. We do this by providing education and training to providers, advocating for public policy change, sharing information and consulting with service providers and organizations.
