Rainbow Health Ontario strengthens 2SLGBTQ+ health equity by developing clinical and cultural competency across Ontario’s health care and social service sectors. As the province’s only organization specializing in this field, we bring 18 years of experience training more than 50,000 providers.
We deliver flexible training through in-person sessions, online learning, and tailored consultations. Committed to accessibility, we bring our programs directly to communities across Ontario, with special attention to rural and underserved areas.

All learning pathways begin with our mandatory, CME-certified course, 2SLGBTQ+ Foundations (available in French: Fondements 2SLGBTQ+), which is delivered asynchronously. Learners can then continue their education through our instructor-led programs. Organizations may book private sessions for groups of 35+ participants, while smaller groups can join our scheduled public sessions.

Our Lunch & Learn sessions provide an introduction to 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion. While useful for covering basic concepts, these sessions are not a replacement our required 2SLGBTQ+ Foundations course. Lasting change requires both staff training and policy updates. Available online or in-person (depending on location) for a fee.
To book a session, please contact training@rainbowhealthontario.ca.
Learners have 30 days to complete any of the self-directed courses from the time of enrollment.
We deliver training both in-person and online.
All courses are available through our dynamic online learning platform. Instructor-led sessions feature interactive elements including breakout rooms, case studies, comprehensive learning materials, and community discussions.
In-person training is available across Ontario, with priority given to rural and underserved communities. These sessions depend on instructor availability and current public health considerations, and require additional fees to cover travel costs.
Our course fees range from $20 to $50 per person, depending on content and duration. Organizations may purchase our self-directed courses in bulk (100+ seats) at a discounted rate. For details on pricing, contact training@rainbowhealthontario.ca.
