Experience in 2SLGBTQ+ Research

My masters level research, Trans(cending) Recovery, focused on the intersection of gender identity and eating disorder recovery. Exploring through narrative interviewing the experiences of trans* and nonbinary individuals who had undergone eating disorder treatment or recovery. The findings were exploratory and I am looking to continue to build on this initial research in the future.

Research Interest(s) in 2SLGBTQ+ Communities

My primary focus within my research is the intersection between gender identity and mental health. Looking at the experiences of trans* and non-binary individuals within mental health settings and treatment.
