What to expect
Each treatment beings with your completed Health History Intake Form and Consent to Treat Sensitive Areas Form. Your treatment goals and a clinical assessment will be discussed beforehand to ensure a safe and effective treatment.
Therapeutic Breast/Chest Massage
This treatment supports breast and chest wall health, with focus on the surrounding fascia, tendons, ligaments and lymphatic system. It’s a post-surgical-friendly option for individuals recovering from mastectomy, augmentation, gender-affirming or heart/lung surgery. This is a specific treatment that is **not automatically included** in every session and involves additional consent. If post-operative, please seek clearance from your surgeon prior to treatment.
Manual Scar Tissue Release Therapy
Any scar tissue be it surgery or injury related. Gentle yet affective manual scar tissue release techniques with the aid of silicone cupping, hot/cold stones, steam towels, cold compresses and paraffin wax applications. Before and After photos can be taken on your own personal device for reference.
Hydrotherapy
Utilizing hot and cold modalities to increase the tissue pliability and circulation consisting of:
- heat therapy with steam towels, heating pad, paraffin wax or hot stone for point specific treatments;
- cryotherapy with cold towel wraps, marble stones or ice cubes massaging dynamically to reduce inflammation, swelling & edema.
I use holly oil or fractionated coconut oil as these are the most hypoallergenic on the market. I do wear medical grade Nitrile gloves while massaging because I have eczema on my hands and the constant hand washing is terrible for my skin.
