Dr. Ihab Kandil – Endocrinologist

Dr. Ihab Kandil is an adult endocrinologist. His scope of practice includes transgender medicine and gender affirming hormone therapy. A prior diagnosis of gender dysphoria is not a requirement for referral. Dr. Kandil will use his discretion if an additional assessment for gender dysphoria is required.

Dr. Kandil is able to apply for transition related surgeries OHIP funding on behalf of the patient.

Dr. Kandil’s medical services are covered by OHIP. No fee is required for assessment, providing there is a medical referral from a health care provider.
