Active and exercise based rehab for queer and 2SLGTBQIA folks who want treatment in a space they can authentically be themselves.

I am  queer woman, and there is a sense of ease I have always felt in queer spaces; an easiness where I can take my “mask” off and rest; an easiness of being myself. This easiness is what I want to cultivate in the active + rehab environment. Because let’s be honest, this is traditionally an unwelcoming and incredibly uncomfortable environment that can be incredibly traumatizing to interact with.

I am a body-neutral, trauma-informed, and weight-neutral practitioner. My active and movement based approach treats the body as a system, and integrates your site of injury/pain to the root cause in order to provide a holistic plan that supports long term results.

I approach appointments with the understanding that while I may be the “expert” it is you who is your body’s expert and that this relationship is collaborative. So much about treating new or nagging injuries/pain is trial-and-error and navigating information, and it’s something I want to do together. My goal is to get you back to what you love doing, with the education to make informed care decision in the future, so you can get the treatment that works best for you!

I am a Certified Athletic Therapist and Registered Massage Therapist with my own solo practice (967 College St) and I work out of b-Stretched (73 Charles St E).
