OCD and Anxiety Clinic of Ontario

Robert Roopa is a dedicated psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related anxiety conditions. With extensive training in evidence-based therapies, Robert provides compassionate, specialized care for individuals struggling with the intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and distress that characterize OCD.

At the OCD and Anxiety Clinic of Ontario, Robert utilizes proven treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which are considered the gold standard for OCD treatment. Understanding that OCD can manifest in many different ways—from contamination fears and checking behaviors to intrusive thoughts about harm, relationships, or moral concerns—Robert  tailors treatment plans to address each individual’s unique symptoms and challenges.

Robert creates a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can openly discuss their experiences without shame or embarrassment. Recognizing that OCD often feels isolating and overwhelming, their approach emphasizes building trust, providing psychoeducation about the disorder, and empowering clients with practical tools to reclaim their lives from OCD’s grip.

Whether working with adolescents, adults, or families affected by OCD, Robert is committed to helping clients develop the skills and confidence needed to manage their symptoms effectively and pursue meaningful, fulfilling lives. The clinic’s specialized focus ensures that clients receive the most current, targeted treatment available for OCD and related conditions.
