At times in our lives we experience challenges and difficulties and this is when we seek support. Challenges may include living with shame, depression, anxiety, low-self-esteem, grief and loss. As well there may be situations related to; life transitions, workplace, finances, career, education, family and intimate relationships that are distressing. This is when therapy can help you manage these situations in a self-satisfying and productive manner.
I am compassionate and caring and will work with you collaboratively to build a professional trusting relationship where we can identify your strengths and abilities with kindness and acceptance. In acknowledging your strengths, together we can discover your potential and develop approaches to work with the challenges you experience.
While working with individuals I will utilize emotion focused therapy, narrative therapy and mindfulness to address your challenges and concerns. The purpose of therapy is to explore your inner world in a safe and caring environment while bringing greater self-awareness to your life.
