Regina D’cruz Psychotherapy

I’ve worked with the queer community, supporting teens and young adults at various stages of their journeys for the last 7 years. I provide a queer-affirmative and accepting space, understanding the unique intersectionalities between being queer and also being an immigrant, a person of colour, a woman, or someone from a lower socio-economic background.

I’m here to offer a safe space and tools to help you move through these complex experiences- whether it’s feelings of internalized homophobia or feelings of loneliness and rejection. Additionally, navigating cultural and religious beliefs and seeking acceptance within both the queer and heteronormative communities can be daunting. Our sessions together would be tailored based on what works best for you, and your needs and challenges.

In my work as a therapist, I have a trauma-informed, client-centered, and integrative approach- drawing from various modalities like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, narrative therapy, and strengths-based practices.
Reaching out for help and allowing ourselves to be vulnerable takes a lot of courage, and I look forward to working together if you are ready to take this step.
