Meet An RHO Training & Education Specialist
Our instructors play a pivotal role in ensuring learners get the most out of their trainings. In his role as Training & Education Specialist, Juan works with experts and community members to develop and deliver trainings to healthcare and social service providers with the goal of increasing their cultural and clinical competencies in working with 2SLGBTQ+ people.
Juan shares his highlights of working in 2SLGBTQ+ health education, as well as what went into the development of RHO courses like Fondements 2SLGBTQ+.
Last Chance: Three New Courses for Free
Good news: if you missed out on the chance to take our two new self-directed courses for free last month, RHO’s course promotions have been extended! Learners can take Fondements 2SLGBTQ+ and 2SLGBTQ+ Older Adults and Inclusive Care at no cost until the end of December.
Please note: 2SLGBTQ+ Foundations or Fondements 2SLGBTQ+ is a required pre-requisite for all RHO courses. Registration is set to no charge on these courses in our learning management system, so register before December 31 to access either or both of these courses for free. Users are encouraged to complete these courses within 30 days of registration. Access to the courses will end after 60 days if users have not completed the course.
We’re also offering a new live online class on January 30: 2SLGBTQ+ Trauma Informed Care, an introductory course on 2SLGBTQ+ trauma-informed care for health and social service providers who work with people who have experienced trauma. This course is free for a short time and spots are limited, so don’t miss your chance!
