Experience in LGBT2SQ research

I have collected data with LGBTQ2SQ participants for a variety of projects, including interviews with LGBTQ+ students in science programs, a survey of the long-term impacts of child maltreatment on two-spirit, trans, and non-binary adults, a survey and interviews about experiences with endometriosis in individuals assigned female at birth, and interviews on gender identity and resilience in drag performers. At present, 100% of my graduate research assistants identify as members of sexual/gender minority groups.

Interest in LGBT2SQ research

Current projects of the Menard Psych Group that would include LGBTQ2SQ participants:

  • creation of a standardized checklist of recent sexual activities
  • interviews with transmasculine and non-binary individuals diagnosed with endometriosis
  • interviews with LGBTQ2SQ individuals who are members of community-based recreational sports leagues
