Advocating for Your Gender Independent Child

Advocating for Your Gender Independent Child

The Gender Independent Kids brochure series is a resource for parents and caregivers who are supporting Gender Independent Children – children whose gender identity or expression differs from what others expect.

This brochure provides tips and resources for advocating for a Gender Independent Child in schools and health and social service settings. This brochure also highlights the importance of a parent’s support and communication with their Gender Independent Child, and how these factors can help the positive development of their children.

The other two brochures in the series are:
Are you worried about your child’s gender expression?
and
Transition Options for Gender Independent Children and Adolescents
