About Us

Our story starts with the idea of roses as a symbol of self-love and healing, and with a little care they can grow in any environment. When a rose blooms, the rose has come into its own. At Blooming Rose Therapy we like to use this ideology with our clients. Therapy helps us to grow into our own and blossom. We are excited to be apart of your journey.

Our Values

At Blooming Rose Therapy we believe in providing a supportive, collaborative and non-judgemental space. We value providing a client-centred, anti-oppressive approach that is inclusive of all racial, ethno, abilities, and gender and sexual identities. We value implementing a trauma-informed and evidenced-based approach into our practices. We are committed to protecting your privacy, and ongoing education in order to provide you with best care.

Blooming Rose Therapy operates on the traditional land held by the Anishinabewaki, Mississauga’s of the Credit, and Haudenosaunee peoples. Turtle Island is home to many other Indigenous nations including Afro-Indigenous Peoples.  All of whom we are grateful to for being caretakers of this land. Blooming Rose Therapy is committed to Truth and Reconciliation and providing culturally appropriate support to indigenous and afro-indigenous communities. Please contact for more information or to learn about our commitment.

About Sarah:

I believe mental health is an ever-changing journey and sometimes we need a guide for support. I consider it an honour to be your guide, as we work together to consider the whole person. In collaboration, we can explore your unique needs and the experiences that shape who you are.

I have worked in mental health for 10-years predominately with children, youth, young adults, families, and those within the 2SLGBTQIA+ population. I specialize in these populations with a focus on trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, stress, suicidal thought, and self-harm.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, growing my plant collection, reading, cooking, traveling to new places, and binging my favourite shows.

About Pam:

I believe life is a journey full of challenges and we can benefit from therapeutic support to realize our potential, reach our goals, and thrive. Together, in a supportive and strengths-based environment we can work to navigate the challenges impacting your well-being.

I have worked in social services for 15 years, focusing on education, employment and healthcare with adults.

I specialize in working with this population including aging adults across the life span, focusing on life transitions, death and dying, aging and grief.

I use a holistic approach to support clients with career and employment, stress, self esteem, ADHD, anxiety, and depression.

I look forward to supporting you and empowering you in this process.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending my time with my family, including two cats and a dog. I also enjoy spending time reading, gardening, watching movies and playing board games.

About Shereen:

I believe life can be a challenging journey, and it takes immense courage to seek guidance during difficult times. Together, we can take the first step towards exploring your thoughts and emotions and finding inner peace.

I am passionate about providing effective and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help you enhance your quality of life. I am trained in a range of modalities and enjoy incorporating Expressive Art Therapy into my practice, as it can be a powerful tool to express and explore difficult emotions.

I believe in your uniqueness and tailor my approach to suit your needs. Together we can take steps toward your healing journey, as we create a space for you to feel heard, understood, and supported throughout your therapeutic experience. I aim to empower you to overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve desired outcomes.

I specialize in working with children, youth, and young adults with a focus on school concerns, ADHD/Autism, self-esteem, anger, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, cultural and racial identities, and trauma.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time in my community, with family, and watching my favourite shows!
