Chris Hannah – Blueprint Counselling

Therapy can be a part of a healing journey and I’m humbled to walk beside you in this process. As a counsellor, I do my best to create an atmosphere that promotes personal growth and acceptance through openness and non-judgement. Getting started on this journey can be hard, and reaching out can be intimidating, so congratulations on taking this step!

I practice counselling from an Indigenous worldview which I have found to provide insightful learning tools for people of many backgrounds and life experiences.  I integrate mainstream approaches into this worldview through certain tools in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, internal family systems, and EMDR.

I have experience advocating for individuals and supporting them as they navigate complex social systems, addressing and managing mental health concerns, confronting and processing past trauma, and addressing experiences of being racialized. Other areas of focus are grief and loss, life transitions, and spiritual trauma and institutional betrayal.

I look forward to meeting with you to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood as we travel through this part of your journey together.
