As a therapist, I am here to work with you to overcome the challenges that you are facing. Whether you are struggling with depression or anxiety, thoughts about suicide, challenges related to chronic illness or disability, interpersonal and relationship issues, cultural identity, immigration, sexuality, gender identity, grief and loss, or difficult emotions, I will work with you to help build up your resources and your resilience.

My approach to psychotherapy is rooted in neurobiology and existential philosophy. As we work together, I will draw from cognitive, behavioural, and narrative techniques to help you make sense of your experiences and your place in the world. My job as your therapist is to help you become more aware of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour, and to help you reflect on how you might want to change, as well as what change might look and feel like.

As a Canadian-born mixed-race queer of Caribbean descent, I am sensitive to the ways that race, class, diaspora, sexuality, and gender shape our experiences of the world. I am drawn to this work in order to facilitate healing and growth after trauma, especially intergenerational trauma. My goal is to help you chart the course of your journey toward greater personal awareness, understanding, and healing.
