Naturopathic consultations:
Dr. Laura Hoffmann, ND, helps people of all ages to reduce pain, manage their hormones, and optimize the pillars of health: sleep, digestion, exercise, and energy! In the initial visit, we will do a deep dive into your main concerns, your health history, physical exams, additional lab testing, and talk about expected timelines for treatment. A personalized treatment plan is started on the very first visit and built upon each time we meet.
Hormone Health (including Hormone Therapy):
Dr. Laura Hoffmann, ND loves to help people manage their hormones and feel their best no matter what life stage they are in! She takes a comprehensive approach to treating perimenopause, PCOS, PMS, endometriosis, fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. She has a special interest in menopause hormone therapy and has completed advanced training in safety and prescribing. She is licensed to prescribe bio-identical hormone therapy, including estrogen, progesterone, and desiccated thyroid.
Healthy Aging:
To age well, we need to invest in our health and start managing blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, and weight. Metabolic health assessments screen for insulin resistance, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, chronic inflammation, liver disease, thyroid disease, and more. Dr. Laura will create personalized plans that focus on both prevention and treatment. She will always make sure any treatments given are safe to take with any medications you may be on.
Acupuncture & Pain Relief:
Dr. Laura Hoffmann, ND combines both pain relief acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture to help treat people affected by arthritis, fibromyalgia, insomnia, stress, and burnout. Acupuncture increases blood flow and releases endorphins in a safe, natural method of relieving pain, reducing stress, and relaxing the body and mind.
Lab Testing:
Lab results often show if there is an absence of disease. Dr. Laura will look further than that and ensure that your lab work is optimal, not just adequate. Dr. Laura can run comprehensive testing for your health, and she also looks at any previous labs you’ve had completed for optimal values. A personalized lab interpretation guide is always given so you are educated on your health.
Vitamin Injections:
Dr. Laura Hoffmann, ND is licensed to offer vitamin injections done intramuscularly. She offers B12, folate, and vitamin D injections for clients that have deficiencies, and may require this type of support. It is a great option to correct deficiencies with those who have poor absorption, or who are on medications that deplete vitamin B12 (such as metformin, and acid reflux medications).
