I believe that my clients are the experts on their own lives with my role being to walk with them in their therapy journey. As a queer therapist, I offer a non-judgemental, supportive, and affirming space where we can work together towards your goals or navigate difficult life transitions or events. I provide counselling and therapy to individuals looking for support with mental health concerns like anxiety and depression, grief and loss, relationship stress, as well as folks exploring gender identity or sexuality, or working on overall wellness or goals.
I take a feminist, person-centred, and eclectic approach to therapy to suit the needs of anyone who walks through my door. I am always learning and upgrading my skills through training and self-study so that I stay on top of current approaches. I use a trauma-informed approach and am committed to cultural humility and anti-oppressive practices.
It can be difficult to reach out, and I am here for you. I believe that counselling can be beneficial to everyone if it is at the right time and with the right clinician. If you think that I may be the right person for you and your therapy journey, connect with me by email to set up a phone consultation to ensure I am the right fit.
