Eren Deran, RSW, MSW

Hello, I am Eren; my pronouns are he/him. I am a queer and registered social worker & mental health counsellor in Ontario. I provide in-person and online counselling for adults and young adults. As a racialized and queer service provider, I use trauma-informed, client-centred, anti-oppressive, and anti-racist lenses.

As a queer social worker, I volunteered at several organizations such as The 519 and supported 2SLGBTQ+ newcomers. I worked at Across Boundaries – An Ethnoracial Mental Health Centre as a Registered Social Worker and a Team Lead for almost two years and had an essential part in developing the 2SLGBTQ+ program. I supported queer young adults in group and individual counselling sessions at Stella’s Place.

In my work at a private practice as a cis gay social worker, I advocate and support queer folks; I provide safe space to 2SLGBTQ & QTBIPOC service users.
