I provide a safe and supportive space in my private practice for all members of the LGBTQ+ spectrum, their families, and allies. I work with general mental health, mood disorders, relationship issues, sexuality, identity, emotional regulation, trauma and anxiety. I offer help to those going through transitions in life, be it work, relationships, meaning of life and can help if you are feeling stuck.

I also see a lot of first responders and military, as this is a unique culture and presents with different and specific challenges in therapy.

I aim to help foster enduring change and growth in life with progress toward living the life you truly desire. I work with both individuals and couples and employ an active integrative approach, which means that I tailor therapy to your specific needs and pull from various frameworks such as: psychodynamic/psychoanalytic, attachment, ACT, DBT, CBT, MI and EFT. I am a uniquely active therapist in session, I won’t just sit and make you do all the work, we do this together. This is something my current clientele value.

I pride myself on cultural competence and working from the worldview and value-system of my clients. I am a registered provider of mental health to the Indigenous community under the Non-Insurance program (NIHB). Rates range from $170 plus, and I am located centrally in downtown Ottawa. I also provide medicated trauma therapy in my office and see clients in Ontario and Saskachewan virtually if desired. Feel free to reach out for first contact and see if we would be a good fit.
