Hatty Wong, Registered Psychotherapist

Have you ever experienced periods in your life where you are so troubled by stress, anxiety relationship difficulties, and/or depressed mood but is uncertain who to turn to talk about the issues in fear that you’ll be misunderstood or that others simply just won’t get what you’re going through? If so, I would be happy to work with you to explore the issues troubling you. As a Psychotherapist, I have worked with a number of individuals ranging from ages 7 – 65+ from various ethnic backgrounds to help them work through a variety of issues. I have experience working with those in the LGBTQ community and marginalized groups.

I have close to 10 years of experience working in various settings (hospital, private practice, correctional facilities). I normally approach much of my work from a Cognitive Behavioral or Dialectical Behavioral approach – but as each client and their concerns are unique in its’ own way, I am also quite versatile in my approach.

One of the most difficult yet courageous steps when seeking therapy is reaching out. I strongly believe that no significant therapeutic progress can be achieved without first having a strong therapeutic relationship with your client. I offer a free brief telephone consultation to help us decide if we would be a good fit to work together.
