I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work – Health and Mental Health Specialization – (MSW, RSW). I hold 25 years of relevant professional experience working in post-secondary education, health care, and community settings. I currently offer therapy and consulting services online  across Ontario and BC.

I work from an anti-oppressive, trauma informed approach. I draw from Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, ACT, Yoga, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, TFCBT, CPT, IFS, EMDR, etc.

I identify as a queer femme of colour. I am trauma-informed, having worked for many years with survivors of sexual, state-based, and intimate partner violence. I have worked on anti-racist models of mental health and recognize that racism is a social determinant of health, am knowledgeable of the healthy immigrant effect and have been part of a refugee mental health community of practice. I also led a program to offer Black, Indigenous and women of colour violence prevention workshops that won an award from the Quebec Ministry of Health. I have worked extensively in LGBTQ communities from running Positive Space to working on building Queer and Trans resilience. I am registered with NIHB and the IFHP to offer free counselling services to eligible Indigenous and refugee clients respectively.
