Leah Neumann Psychotherapy

Leah’s general counselling and psychotherapy practice addresses the needs of individuals and families who arrive with a variety of life challenges. These may include depression, anxiety, loss and grief, unresolved traumatic stress, sexuality issues, life transitions, parenting struggles, relationship difficulties, and general concerns about life satisfaction.

Leah’s style is interactive and engaged. She focuses on addressing present life challenges while integrating past experiences. She endeavors to help her clients recognize and heal from unhelpful patterns in order to experience a renewed sense of self and enjoyment of life. She assists clients by empowering them and encouraging them to build on their strengths in order to move to a place of hope and wholeness.

Leah received her education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (MSSW), and she holds professional memberships with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, the Ontario Association of Social Workers, and the National Association of Social Workers in the United States.
