Lincoln Community Midwives

Midwives are primary care providers to pregnant persons and their babies. We prioritize informed choice, continuity of care, appropriate use of technology, and choice of birthplace. We care for clients throughout pregnancy, labour, birth, and for 6 weeks postpartum, and are on-call for urgent concerns 24/7 for our clients.

As Ontario midwives, we are committed to respecting the human rights of all people and have worked to create a practice that is respectful and inclusive of trans, genderqueer, and intersex people. We are committed to challenging cisnormativity and heteronormativity, and have training or experience in working with trans, genderqueer, and intersex communities.  We prioritize creating a safe environment where all individuals are welcomed, treated with dignity and respect, and encouraged to be active decision makers in all aspects of their care. We are also committed to our own continuous education as we work towards maintaining a safe, informed, and inclusive environment for all.
