If you’ve been feeling stuck, or otherwise wanting to fix some behaviour, or area of your life, I can help. I help people who are looking to optimize areas of their life. I help people with ADHD who want to learn techniques to live a more structured life. I help people wanting relief from anxious thoughts that are holding them back from the people, places, and things that they love. I also help people seeking to improve their relationships, whether they be romantic, familial, or friendships. I help people who need to improve their communication skills, and who want to feel more confident in every aspect of their lives.
I primarily practice from a Biopsychosocial perspective. Modalities I will use in our work together can include CBT, Mindfulness, Gottman Method, Inner Child Work, and Person-Centered Approach. I work with Individuals, Couples, Men, Women, Teens, and Young Adults. I take a collaborative approach and work with you to create a life with more happiness and joy.
I understand how difficult it is to reach out and get help, and that’s why you can always expect an empathetic, validating ally on your side to help you reach your goals. Let’s work together to help you get any blockages out of your way and have a better life. Take the first step and email me at mia@lotus-psychotherapy.ca
I have helped and continue to help many 2LGBTQ clients in navigating sexuality, and supporting them with ensuring they feel supported during that process and beyond.
