McKenzie Counselling – MSW

I’m a gay registered social worker and activist, and I provide one-on-one, couples, and family counselling.

My practice is strength-based and solution-focused, all within an anti-oppressive framework. I specialize in coming out, health and wellness, relationship issues, HIV/AIDS, self-esteem, loneliness, learning disabilities, school/career stress and development, as well as strategies for working towards personal goals and aspirations. I can offer support in managing life challenges that you are experiencing.

I strive to create a safe environment, and welcome the opportunity to work with all members of the LGBTQ+ community. Through my interest and experience in both social and educational settings, I have created a strong and personal knowledge base to help empower and assist you. I know how important it is to create a sense of belonging both personally and within the community.
