The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) offers culturally relevant victim services within all of its Healing and Wellness programs to address, deter and end violence against Métis women and children, and also against the LGBTQ+ community. These services address the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual impacts of victimization.

The MNO Victim Services Program is being offered in MNO community offices throughout the province. The MNO has two Victim Services Coordinators dedicated to:

– Assisting victims of violence
– Supporting MNO Healing and Wellness community workers with expertise, support and clarification when helping victims of crime

Our services are “status blind”, meaning that you do not necessarily have to be Metis to utilize our program. We accept everyone, but our services have a Metis focus/lens to them. We are also a province-wide program.
