Mike Ware Psychotherapy

My practice as a psychotherapist has covered the past 36 years and has involved private practice,residential treatment, psychiatric hospital and outpatient treatment, community based mental health program and community based private counselling centre. My most intensive work has been centred on individual and group psychotherapy with clients living with severe mental illness, complex posttraumatic stress disorder and the range of emotional and relational difficulties. My model of practice is based on relational psychoanalytic theories and incorporates an appreciation of the mutual influences of the therapy relationship and the impingements of the client’s relational and cultural world. My fees are relatively low at $50.00 per session and I am covered by a number of health benefit plans provided by employers.
