Diploma Of Acupuncture
The people that seek my services are looking to make changes in their lives.
From dealing with addictions, various life transitions & generally searching for better health and quality of life.
The Acupuncture I practice is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as Five Element Principles. Within these modalities I am able to work on a physical, emotional, and psychological level with patients to help them achieve their health goals.
I have been trained in the NADA protocol for addictions, in pain management therapies & protocols including TUINA massage (Chinese style therapeutic massage for such conditions such as injuries, digestive problems, PMS & migraines) & lifestyle counseling using the fundamentals of Chinese Medicine Practice around food & lifestyles. Over the past 2 years I have been working at PWA as an Acupuncturist providing services through my school to support the people living with HIV & AIDS.
In life and in practice I work from a framework of anti-oppression and seek to continue my awareness, knowledge and practice in this path. My work is Queer & Sex Positive.
