The Bridge is a grassroots committee that works to identify and address inequities that are experienced by the diverse 2SLGBTQ+ communities within Brantford and Brant County.

We do our best to connect 2SLGBTQ+ community members with appropriate local resources to support their well-being, and we organize trainings for organizations and the broader community to encourage everyone to create safer spaces. We also apply for grant funding to support advocacy and awareness projects in our local community.

The Bridge is made up of volunteers from the community and representatives from local social service, health and non-profit organizations. We meet monthly and use a consensus-based model to make decisions.
