The Gilbert Centre for Social and Support Services (formerly The AIDS Committee of Simcoe County) is a community-based, not-for-profit, charitable organization committed to supporting those living with HIV and the LGBTQ communities living in Simcoe County and Muskoka Region. Support programs include client case management, referrals to community services, peer based programs, and health promotion, social and support groups. The Gilbert Centre also offers educational programming to raise awareness of HIV and other sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections as well as capacity building for agencies interested in increasing their ability to serve LGBTQ individuals and families throughout the catchment area.
