The Village Therapy

I provide virtual therapy to youth (13+) and adults who are queer or queer-allied. I am a Registered Social Worker in Ontario (848610) and British Columbia (10934) with over a decade of experience in mental health and substance use. I have worked for several programs focused on queer men’s health, HIV-services, and gender-affirming care.

Virtual therapy has a lot of advantages for queer-folks, particularly those living in rural communities. As a queer male who grew up in rural communities, I know how difficult it can be to find health services which affirm our identities. I know it’s also hard to trust services in small towns to not talk about your personal information. Virtual therapy offers more anonymity and confidentiality than in-person therapy.

I have extensive experience supporting people struggling with anxiety, depression, panic, isolation, substance use, self-esteem, grief/loss, new health diagnoses, and many other concerns.

I am happy to book a free 20 minute consultation to see if I might be a fit for you.
