The Gender and Vascular Health Clinic is a virtual-only clinic dedicated to the cardiovascular and vascular health of transgender and gender-diverse patients.

Who Can Be Referred?

Patients who are transgender, non-binary, or gender-diverse with:

•  Personal or family history of arterial or venous thrombosis
• History of cerebrovascular, cardiovascular, or peripheral vascular disease (including peripheral artery disease)
• Chronic cardiovascular conditions requiring risk assessment before starting/during prescription of gender-affirming hormone therapy
• High cardiovascular risk (e.g., elevated Framingham Risk Score >/= 10%)
