Trans Health Mentorship Call

Build Capacity for Trans Health Care

Connect with fellow providers, contribute to a community of practice, and strengthen your gender-affirming care.

Rainbow Health Ontario’s Trans Health Mentorship Call offers Ontario clinicians a confidential space to connect with peers who care for trans and non-binary clients.

These free, biweekly teleconferences—held on the first and third Wednesday of each month—enable health professionals to build knowledge, ask questions and share experiences.

Discussions cover a range of topics, from case-based clinical questions to broader social and ethical considerations. Participants join a community of practice and develop valuable professional networks.

The calls are open to all health professionals, including physicians, nurses, social workers and mental health workers, who currently work or plan to work with trans and non-binary clients. Participants must first complete Rainbow Health Ontario’s 2SLGBTQ+ Foundations Course (a required prerequisite).

How to register:

  1. Create an account or log in to Rainbow Health Ontario’s Learning Platform.
  2. Select “Trans Health Mentorship Call” in the course listings.
  3. Review the terms and conditions and call guidelines (5–10 minutes).

After registering, you’ll gain access to up to two years of archived call notes, and the Trans Health Networking Hub for mentorship call members.

Note: To maintain confidentiality, calls are not recorded.
