Prismatic Compassion

My name is Stephanie and I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) working with Prismatic Compassion.  I have a therapeutic focus in supporting adolescents and adults in these areas:

  • Gender identity exploration (trans, non-binary, gender fluid, etc.)
  • Neurodivergence (ADHD & AuDHD)
  • University/college/high school stress
  • Childhood trauma
  • Relationship trauma
  • Anxiety
  • PMDD
  • OCD

I often lean into humour, imagery, and creativity in my work with clients. I approach my work in a way that challenges systems-level stigma and oppression through advocacy while supporting individual-level acceptance, self-compassion, and exploration of identities. I am honoured to be in the position to listen to life stories and help clients write new chapters in their lives.

I believe that no two people are alike and that therapy should be tailored to the goals and experiences of each client. I draw on many modalities to fit the unique needs of all clients including:

  • IFS-informed practice
  • Somatic-based practice
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Mindfulness
  • Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Through these approaches, we can create new meanings, beginnings, and life paths to help you feel in-control and fulfilled.

Above all, I hold a profound belief that all individuals are worthy of safety and acceptance. I am committed to creating a welcoming and secure environment for every client. I achieve this through a therapeutic approach that is person-centered, strengths-based, pro-LGBTQ2S+, pro-diversity, neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and accessible.

I’m looking forward to hearing about your stories and experiences. Feel free to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to see if I’d be a good fit!
