Get directionsOur Youth Health Clinic is a safe environment, free of judgement. No health card necessary and no appointment necessary – just walk in! We offer health care, dental care and addictions counselling, and our nurse practitioner can prescribe some medications. We also offer Mental Health Services for young people aged 16 to 24. Young people also have access to clean needles and other harm reduction supplies through YSB’s HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C (HCV) Prevention Education Program. This program also talks about the risks of HIV/AIDS and the Hepatitis C virus, the steps to take to prevent infection and various treatment options. Our workers can put you in touch with crisis counsellors and other community programs and resources.
YSB also has services to address: homelessness, employment, belonging and being involved with the law.
YSB runs two LGBTTQ drop in groups: Wednesday: LGBTTQ Drop-in 7 pm to 9 pm (offered at Pink Triangle Services at 251 Bank Street and SHAG’ed: Last Thursday of every month, Gay Zone LGBTTQ Drop-in 6 pm to 8 pm.
